Downtown Streets Design Meeting on August 21

A public meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 21 to begin the process of planning the future design of these streets. The meeting will be held at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts at 435 W South Street from 6:30 - 8 p.m. Please join the discussion and share your ideas on how these streets can best contribute to the vision for Kalamazoo's future!

Our Staff Feature this month is Jamie McCarthy, the Development Project Coordinator at the City of Kalamazoo. Jamie has a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a master’s degree in Natural Resource Management. She’s currently working on projects related to the City’s goal of Environmental Responsibility including the Natural Features Protection Overlay and Sustainability Plan.
